While working at JNS Next, the agency behind GoCal's destination branding, I was responsible for designing and developing a tourism website for Greater Ontario California, representing the cities of Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga. The goal was to create an engaging digital destination that brought the GoCal brand to life while connecting visitors with local attractions, dining, accommodations, events, and experiences throughout the region.
The project required balancing a bold, recognizable visual identity with intuitive navigation and a content-rich user experience. I translated the established brand into a cohesive digital design system, using expressive typography, destination photography, interactive elements, and thoughtful layouts to capture the energy of the region. Throughout the process, I focused on creating a seamless experience across the site's various sections, ensuring that the design remained visually compelling while making it easy for visitors to discover and explore everything Greater Ontario has to offer.
The completed website serves as a central tourism resource for the destination, bringing together local businesses, regional attractions, and visitor information within a unified branded experience. The project demonstrates my ability to translate brand strategy into large-scale digital environments, balancing creative direction, user experience, and technical execution to create a website that is both engaging and functional.
