NCB is a mountain bike and apparel company based in Lake Elsinore and Utah. In early 2022 they were designing a new line of Graphic Tees and asked me to come up with rough sketches for the new design with this description "Grim reaper, holding our trail building tool, on a downhill track position." To the best of my ability, I translated this sentence into a few rough sketches and sent them over. The illustration above was chosen, followed by the fully rendered version. The end of the sequence shows a shirt prototype that was mass distributed from their website.
